Most people tend to drive themselves to the airport for a departing flight that means that you need to have something to do with your vehicle while you are gone on your trip.

Most airports offer a variety of parking options. One of those options is long-term parking.

Arriving at the airport and driving around for what seems like hours looking for a spot to park your vehicle is a big hassle and it adds stress to an already stressful situation. If you know that you will be traveling and will need a place to park your vehicle for more than a couple of days then you should attempt to make a reservation with a long-term parking lot at the airport.

Short-term parking is another option however, if you will be gone more than a couple of days it will be more economical to park in a long-term parking lot. The most convenient lots are, of course, located in closer proximity to the terminal, however parking in these lots will be a little more expensive as you are paying for the convenience of being close.

Another long-term parking option is to park your vehicle in an off-site parking lot. These lots are typically owned by private companies. If there are a number of these lots to choose from, you might find much better prices due to the competition. These lots typically offer complimentary shuttles to and from the airport.

Many airports keep their websites updated with which parking lots have spaces available and which are full. We recommend that you visit the airport’s website to see what parking options are open before getting in your vehicle for the airport, this will save you time. Long-term parking prices can also be found on most airport websites so that you can plan ahead and know how much you will pay to park your vehicle.
